" I’m really pleased with my experience at Tortillerria Matehuala! The barbacoa was fantastic, and you can really tell the difference with their fresh tortillas. The staff is friendly and efficient. I ordered a fq platter with various fillings, and while the tortillas were fresh and delicious, the salsas didn’t quite hit the mark for me. " Disappointing! I decided to try Tortillerria Matehuala because of the hype, but honestly, I wasn’t that impressed. While the tortillas were excellent, I found the service to be lacking; the staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Also, my order took longer than expected. This type of restaurant usually has a good flow, but the ones there didn't seem to care much. I may give it another shot, but I’m not sure if it will be my first choice going forward. " Wow! Tortillerria Matehuala deserves all the praise it gets! Just recently, I tried their quesabirrias and it was probably one of the best things I’ve eaten. The tortillas held up beautifully and paired perfectly with the consomme. Their fresh salsa has just the right amount of heat. The service was quick, and the employees were super friendly.
