" China Star has been a staple in our household for a while now. Their sweet and sour chicken is so tasty; the sauce is just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The fried rice is always fresh and comes loaded with vegetables. I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of ordering from here. It’s affordable and the portions are generous. We frequently do takeout and love the over-the-phone ordering process as it makes it very convenient. Will definitely continue to return for more meals! I always recommend this place to anyone looking for great Chinese food. I would say the ambiance could use some work, but if you’re looking for quality takeout, this is the best around! I ordered the General Tso's chicken, hoping for that signature spice and crunch, but what arrived was soggy and tasted more sugary than spicy. I also felt like the service was not up to par – I waited longer than expected for my food, and they weren't very attentive during the process. The ambiance leaves much to desire, seeming very much like a takeout spot. After this experience, I think I’ll be sticking to my other favorite places in town for Chinese cuisine.
