" Having visited this place since I was a child, I can vouch for the consistency in both flavor and quality. The potstickers and fried rice remain my favorites. Although the staff could be a bit brusque at times, I find the food to be worth the occasional wait. I particularly enjoy their authentic flavors; it's not your average fast-food Chinese. Plus, you leave the place feeling full due to the sheer amount they serve you. I always reminisce about the first time I tasted their chow mein as a child. I've moved away several times, but I always find my way back whenever I'm in town. " (*Curated Review*)
" What a hidden gem! I dropped by Egg Roll King expecting mediocre fast food and was delightfully surprised! The pho was the best I’ve had in ages, and the portions were incredibly generous! Despite the legibility of the menu being a bit concerning, I found the staff were sincere and tried their best. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about the decor. This is an authentic family-run restaurant that serves delicious, fresh food that’s definitely worth any small inconvenience during the order process. " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve been going to Egg Roll King since college days, and they somehow still manage to retain a fraction of the quality that drew me there. Their pork chow mein remains consistent and flavorful – it’s a dish I can always rely on. The atmosphere can be hit-or-miss, as I often find the dining area somewhat unkempt. Busy days are usually the worst, and you're left waiting long while the owners seem to be running around. Regardless, the food is the primary reason I return. " (*Curated Review*)
" Egg Roll King has been my family's go-to Chinese restaurant for years. However, our recent visit was met with mixed feelings. The food still holds its nostalgic flavor that I remember fondly; my favorite dish is their Mongolian beef. The issue we encountered was the service, which felt a bit rushed. The owners, while efficient, seemed stressed. The restaurant’s atmosphere often has that classic 'hole-in-the-wall' feel, which I love, but saw it lacking cleanliness this time. I hope they work on improving their staff’s demeanor while maintaining their high-quality food. Overall, still a solid place for good Chinese food. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high hopes for this place after hearing friends rave about it. Unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant. The wait time felt endless, and the food wasn’t quite what I expected in terms of authenticity. The beef broccoli was overcooked and the flavors were dulled down, almost as if they had tailored the dish too much to a Western palate. Service levels were also significantly lacking; it seemed like they were overwhelmed, which might explain the poor food quality. I might give them another shot, but I’m not in a hurry to return. " Egg Roll King has been a part of this community for years, and for good reason! The shrimp egg rolls are a must-try if you’re a fan of crispy and deliciously stuffed treats. I also had their sweet and sour pork that was quite tangy and sweet, which I enjoyed very much! However, I can't overlook the long wait times; the drive-thru is convenient but not speedy. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes won’t leave you hungry, so I’ll keep coming back between errands! " (*Curated Review*)
" If you’re looking for a quick bite, this isn’t the place for you. It took about 25 minutes to get my food, but when it arrived, it was freshly prepared and piping hot. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken along with some vegetable fried rice, which was excellent! The chicken was crispy, and the sauce had the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. The fried rice was similarly fantastic, however, I did wish they had given a bit more chicken. As for the atmosphere, it felt a bit dingy. All in all, a decent experience but I'd suggest making your order ahead of time. " (*Curated Review*)
