" I decided to try China Wok after seeing its reputation online. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience. The flat and tasteless Lo Mein noodles were served, and I wondered if they were trying to replicate an Italian dish. My husband’s sweet-and-sour chicken tasted overly sweet and processed. We were both disappointed. The best part of the meal was the serving size; we had plenty left for lunch the next day, but the food was just not worth it. Overall, so disappointed. " The food at China Wok has its ups and downs. I used to be a frequent visitor, but my last couple of experiences have made me reconsider. The fried rice has slowly turned into a flavorless heap, and my General Tso's chicken tasted more like something you'd get from a fast food joint. To top it all off, I found a long hair in my meal. Not a great way to enjoy my dinner! I had to inform the staff, but they acted indifferent towards the issue. I left unsatisfied. " I stumbled upon China Wok when trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in Kokomo. The exterior was modest, but the interior was surprisingly cozy! To my dismay, the orange chicken had zero orange flavor; it was more like fried chicken smothered in soy sauce. Even the fried rice was bland! On top of that, the service staff barely acknowledged us. I don't know if I caught them on an off day, but I left feeling like I wasted my money.
