" I recently stumbled upon La Escondida Restaurant and let me tell you, it was an amazing discovery! As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff. I ordered tacos al pastor with homemade tortillas which were absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were authentic, just like my grandmother's kitchen back in Mexico! I also tried their homemade salsa which had the perfect kick. The atmosphere was cozy despite being a small place, and I could see why it's a local favorite. " Typically when I think of Mexican food, I think greasy and unhealthy, but I was thoroughly impressed by the freshness at La Escondida. I had the grilled steak tacos which were well-seasoned and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. The homemade tortillas were a highlight for sure, they were soft and the perfect complement to the tacos.
