" I had high hopes for Saveurs de l'Inde given all the local recommendations. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. The vegetable korma was extraordinarily sweet, not at all like the savory dish I was familiar with. I appreciate the decor of the place, which gave it a nice atmosphere but the service was quite dodgy. The waiter seemed disinterested and forgot a few of our requests. " Saveurs de l'Inde might be the most overrated Indian restaurant I have been to. First, the service was below average; the staff seemed overwhelmed even though the place wasn't full. Second, the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered butter chicken, which tasted like it had been made for someone with a sweet tooth. It was more sugar than spice! " I gave Saveurs de l'Inde a chance recently. I was really looking forward to some delicious Indian curry, but what I received was subpar. Everything I ordered was so sweet that I could hardly call it authentic. The service was lackadaisical, to say the least. Our server forgot our drinks and only brought them after we asked twice.
