" I used to love J's, but after they changed ownership, the food has become unrecognizable. The flavors are bland and the portions seem smaller. It's a real shame because it was my favorite spot. The ambiance is still nice and the staff is friendly, but the food just doesn't cut it anymore. I've tried various dishes hoping for a hit, but it just feels like a chore to eat here now. " After hearing mixed reviews about J's post-ownership change, I had to see for myself. I ordered takeout, which was ready quickly. Upon tasting the food, I could tell it lacked the special seasoning and freshness I used to enjoy. The egg rolls were unrecognizable and the General Tso's was okay at best. The workers were more than pleasant which is a plus, but in the end, if the food doesn't deliver, I won't be back. I appreciate the quick service, but they need to bring back their old flavors. " I have been visiting J's since it opened, and I was there on its first day. Throughout the years, it has had its ups and downs, but recently, the decline has been quite shocking. The egg rolls tasted stale, and the fried rice was bland. The service has been good, but if the food isn’t up to par, it doesn’t matter. I used to rave about their Honey Chicken, but now it seems like they have changed the recipe; it's too sweet and artificial now. It breaks my heart because I had so many good memories here. " I had a craving for some Chinese food, so I headed over to J's after hearing some good things, but my experience was disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken was overly sweet, and the egg rolls weren't crunchy or crisp. I guess I was hoping for traditional flavors and something that made me feel good after eating it. " Tried J's out for a quick dinner. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered their sweet and sour chicken and it tasted like it had no seasoning at all. The crab rangoons were okay, but I have had much better elsewhere.
