" After hearing mixed reviews, I decided to check out China Palace 2. Despite its unassuming exterior in a neglected shopping area, I went inside, eager to try the food. The service was very friendly, and my server was quite attentive. I ordered the fried dumplings and they were spectacular! After that high note, I attempted the general tso's chicken, which, while tasty, was a little too saucy for my liking. The atmosphere felt a bit drab; a little sprucing up would go a long way in making this place more inviting. Nonetheless, I leave with a satisfied stomach and a fair respect for their offerings. " I visited China Palace 2 for lunch and had a delightful time! The staff was so kind and worked quickly to get our food out. I loved their ginger chicken, absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! I found the interior to be a bit worn, but it didn’t take away from my experience at all. " My family has been ordering takeout from China Palace 2 for years, mainly because we have our favorites that never disappoint! The orange chicken is a must-try, and it's even better in person. The rice was bland, and the pork was just not fresh - it tasted like it had been sitting out for too long. While the service was prompt, I felt rushed, and the staff barely smiled. I ended up giving a low rating on both food quality and atmosphere because of this experience. I would not recommend anyone to go here unless they want to risk getting poor quality food. " I've eaten at China Palace 2 numerous times over the years. It's a bit of a mixed bag; some days, the food is fabulous, especially their dumplings, but other times, I feel like I’m eating sub-par takeout. Recently, I ordered the garlic chicken, and though the flavors were great, the chicken was a little overcooked and chewy. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired; it's always rather cluttered and dark. Nevertheless, their prices are reasonable, which is a plus.
