" After hearing wonderful reviews about Azro, I decided to check it out, and it turned out to be a delightful experience! The authenticity truly shines through in their kabobs and rice dishes, bursting with flavor. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the overall experience pleasant. However, I did wish the portion sizes were a bit larger for someone with a hearty appetite. That said, it's a solid place that I would gladly recommend to friends! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had the pleasure of dining at Azro yesterday and was left thoroughly impressed. The décor offered an authentic Afghan experience that provided a delightful backdrop to our meal. We ordered several dishes, including the Narenj Pallow and Mantoo, both of which were rich in flavor. My only critique would be the portion sizes, which could be more filling given the richness of the dishes. Nevertheless, the service was exceptional, and we ended our meal with Ferni, which is a fantastic dessert. I will certainly be back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Having been on a quest for genuine Afghan cuisine, I was thrilled to find Azro. Everything from the atmosphere to the food exceeded my expectations. The mint tea was the perfect start to my meal, and the Mantoo dumplings were absolutely delightful—stuffed generously and balanced with spices. The lamb dishes were tender and flavorful as well, showcasing the authenticity of the cuisine. While the prices felt slightly high for the portion sizes, the quality of the food made it worthwhile. I can’t recommend this place enough! " (*Curated Review*)
" I stumbled upon Azro while looking for somewhere to have lunch. It was empty when I arrived, giving me a chance to speak with the owner, who was very welcoming. I ordered the Kabuli Pulao and added lamb to it. The flavors were rich and vibrant. However, I thought the lamb could have been more tender. The service was great as my waiter was always checking in on me. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, making for an enjoyable visit overall. I might return to try other dishes. " I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Azro! From the moment I walked in, I was embraced by the warmth of their hospitality. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and flavorful rather than the standard Afghan fair I’ve had elsewhere. Pairing it with the saffron rice was a match made in heaven. Every dish tasted fresh, vibrant, and truly homemade. I left feeling like I had visited family and was already planning my next visit before I even got to my car. Do not miss out on this gem! " What a wonderful discovery! Azro offers a taste of Afghanistan right in the heart of the city. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for families or a romantic dinner. We ordered the Mantu dumplings, which were brilliantly seasoned, and the Kabuli Pulao, which reminded me of my grandma's cooking back home. The portions were generous, and we even had leftovers to take home! The mint tea is a must-try, just like they serve back in Afghanistan. The staff was friendly and eager to help with suggestions. We left feeling satisfied and already planning our next visit! " (*Curated Review*)
" I took my family to Azro for dinner and we had a lovely time! The atmosphere was family-friendly and the staff were wonderful! Each of us ordered different dishes and shared, allowing us to try a variety of flavors. The mantoo and kabobs stood out. Everything felt homemade and authentic, which is something I appreciated. The only downside was that the bowls could be more generous. Overall, this is a homey place I would return to in a heartbeat. " (*Curated Review*)
