" Absolutely love this place! You can tell that they are serious about serving authentic Mexican tacos. Everything from the tortillas to the salsa was on point. I can't recommend the tacos al pastor enough. I've visited several times, and they never disappoint. The only complaint I have is that the outdoor seating can be a bit uncomfortable during a hot day. " After hearing the buzz, I finally checked out La Tropicana, and I'm so glad I did. The tacos are delicious, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients used. The only downside was the wait time—it seems like they can get quite busy on the weekends. Nonetheless, the wait was worth it, and I enjoyed a couple of tacos while sipping on a refreshing horchata. " I had high expectations based on the reviews and while the tacos were good, they didn’t quite meet the hype for me. They are definitely better than mainstream Mexican chains, but I found the flavors to be a little lacking. Service was friendly but quite slow, which added to the frustration.
