" The food at Tosokchon was solid but not extraordinary. I sampled a few different items like the bibimbap and spicy rice cakes. While each dish was decent, I was expecting a bit more flavor punch based on the hype that I've heard. The atmosphere felt authentic with some fun Korean decor, which I liked. Service was friendly but a bit inattentive as we had to flag someone down for drinks. Overall, it was an okay experience; I might give it another go to try something else off the menu. " An amazing place for Korean food lovers! I tried a variety of dishes with friends, including the pork soup and spicy rice cake. Every dish was delectable, with vibrant flavors and generous portions. The staff were warm and welcoming, eager to help with recommendations. The only potential downside was that the restaurant was notably busy, making it a little noisy. Despite that, I’m coming back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" I came across Tosokchon while wandering through Korean town, lured by its inviting facade and aroma wafting from the kitchen. After dining there, I left completely satisfied! The seafood stew was generous, and the richness of the broth was delightful with a kick of spice. The setting felt cozy yet lively, making it an enjoyable place to hang out with friends. Despite being busy, the service remained attentive, and our orders came out relatively quickly. Highly recommend for anyone seeking authentic Korean cuisine! " (*Curated Review*)
" I can't recommend Tosokchon enough! After trying their spicy tofu stew, I can honestly say it was the best I've had in NYC. Smooth and rich, the stew was just the right level of heat. The intimate and cozy setting made the meal even more special, which was complemented by the wonderful service provided by the staff. The portion was large for a great price; I found it difficult to finish! I’ll definitely be coming back to this gem. " (*Curated Review*)
" Wow! I was blown away by the immense flavor at Tosokchon! I came in on a Saturday night, and the place was buzzing. I ordered the beef bulgogi and the seafood pancake, and both dishes were incredible. The bulgogi was tender and packed with savory sweet flavor, while the pancake had a perfect crispy texture. As someone who has traveled to Korea, I was thrilled to find such authenticity in NYC. I don't think any other place does it quite like Tosokchon. The warm service added to the whole experience. Would I return? Absolutely! I wish there were more stars to give! " (*Curated Review*)
" While visiting NYC, I stumbled upon Tosokchon and decided to give it a try based on online recommendations. The ginseng chicken soup was incredibly nourishing, perfect for a cold day. I was surprised at how generous the portion was, especially at that price. The atmosphere felt real and authentic, reminiscent of the Korean eateries I've been to back home. I'd happily come back to indulge in more of their offerings! " (*Curated Review*)
" My visit to Tosokchon was delightful yet slightly disappointing. While I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of the spicy pork soup that I ordered, I found the service to be a bit slow during peak hours, which took away from the experience. The ambiance was nice, and the decor was authentically Korean, which I appreciated. Even though the portion sizes were generous, I felt that the price was a tad high for what I received. Nevertheless, I'd like to give it another shot as many dishes seem appealing. " (*Curated Review*)
