" Definitely a place for fans of Salvadorian food! The ambiance is friendly, although seating can be a challenge during peak times. More importantly, the flavors make it highly worth it - everything tasted so fresh. Service could improve, but I leave feeling satisfied after each visit, especially after ordering a dozen pupusas! " My first visit to Pueblo Viejo #2 had me high on their flavors! With a selection laced with authenticity, each dish I tried spoke to the heart of Salvadorian cuisine. I had más personalized service throughout, making the overall experience very pleasant. I could tell the owners take pride in their offerings. Can't wait for my next visit! " (*Curated Review*)
" Pueblo Viejo #2 has become a staple in our family’s dining routine. Every week without fail, we find ourselves heading out to their cozy setting. Their pupusas are unmatched - perfectly made with ample filling. I recall one evening, my sister and I split several dishes, including the birria tacos, which I can't recommend enough. However, a few times we noticed the service could be lacking on busier nights. Regardless, the flavor keeps us coming back for more! " (*Curated Review*)
" The ribs I had here were solid; very tasty indeed. However, I've walked in more than once with expectations set high, only to find a long wait for seating or food. If service improves, my rating would go way up, but the food does keep me coming back. " (*Curated Review*)
" The food here is very tasty, but the service left something to be desired. It's a bit frustrating waiting for refills or to get the bill, especially when the restaurant is busy. Nonetheless, the authentic flavors of the dishes made up for some service mishaps. I'd give it another go, especially since the pupusas are to die for! " (*Curated Review*)
" First visit and had a mixed experience. The food was packed with flavor, but I was frustrated by the long wait for service and an order that didn't come out as expected. I tried the beef ribs and they were fine, but nothing exceptional. I plan to return and hopefully have a better experience next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" Every time I go to Pueblo Viejo #2, I’m blown away by how delicious the food is. My friends and I like to order a few different dishes and share them. I always have to have their pupusas – they taste just like the ones I had in El Salvador! The only downside I noticed was the fluctuating service; sometimes it’s great, other times we experience unusually long wait times. But, good food usually makes the wait worthwhile for me.
