" I have to say, Gorilla Korean Grill has become one of my favorite spots! The grand opening event was well organized with a chance to try many different dishes. From their beef belly to soft-shelled crab, each dish was well-cooked and flavorful. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure a wonderful experience. I appreciated the spacious seating; it’s perfect for larger groups. My only critique would be that they could enhance the variety in their side dishes, as we mostly got pickled veggies. " I had high hopes when I decided to try this place based on rave reviews, but my experience was a bit mixed. While the atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and the staff were really accommodating, the flavors of the food didn't quite live up to the hype. The LA KALBI was disappointingly bland, and while the sushi was decent, it lacked that depth of flavor I've had at other places specializing in sushi. I also found the sauces to be somewhat basic compared to other Korean BBQ spots I've visited. On the positive side, the cleanliness and space of the restaurant is commendable, but for what we paid, I expected a bit more authenticity and flavor in the food.
