" The food at Soho 544 was fantastic! The sushi was absolutely fresh, and the variety was impressive. I particularly enjoyed their specialty rolls! Our server was spot on, very attentive and friendly. We opted for several appetizers as well, including their spring rolls which were crispy and delicious. " What a mixed bag of an experience. I had read some good reviews about Soho 544 and was excited to try it. Walking in, I was welcomed by friendly staff, which set a good tone. I ordered the shrimp tempura and a spicy salmon roll. While the tempura was crispy and seasoned well, the roll was a bit disappointing. The flavors felt muted compared to other places I've been. My friend got pad see ew, and she said it was tasty but not the best she’s had. We did enjoy a nice evening here, though the cigarette smoke was noticeable. " What an extraordinary place! The sushi was exceptionally fresh, just the way I like it. We visited Soho 544 last Friday for a friend's birthday, and everything was perfect. From the sizzling hibachi to the exquisite sushi rolls, the flavors burst in every bite. Our drinks were excellent and kept refreshed throughout the night. The service was delightful and made our special occasion memorable. However, I do wish there was a non-smoking option, as it did impact the evening’s joy a touch.
