It felt like I had microwave leftovers for lunch—the orange chicken was unrecognizable and lacked any original flavor. Trust me, I love good Chinese food. " I had low expectations going into Twin Dragon after reading some reviews. Surprisingly, I had a decent experience! The general tso’s chicken was pleasant enough, although potato-y rather than chicken-y—yet better than a lot of places I've tried in this town. " For an Asian restaurant in South Dakota, I must admit I was not expecting much. My dining experience at Twin Dragon turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. The service welcomed us, and despite some mediocre reviews, I tried the mongolian beef and was satisfied with the flavor profile. Although it wasn't the most authentic dish, I appreciated the attempt at complex flavors. The portions were adequate and decent enough to fill me. " I wish I had better news to share about Twin Dragon. My husband and I ordered the general tso's chicken, and we were shocked at how bland and unappetizing it was. It was more like chunks of chicken slathered in soy sauce rather than anything resembling the sweet and tangy flavors we are used to.
