" Wow, what a surprise! I stumbled upon this little gem while wandering around Tacoma. This place serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were incredibly juicy and full of flavor. The salsa bar is a game changer too! You can customize your tacos exactly how you like them. The staff was friendly, and although it was busy, they took the time to answer my questions about the menu. I’ll definitely be back for more. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a great experience at El Antojo! The tacos were authentic and each bite reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. I particularly loved the adobada; it was perfectly cooked and seasoned! The atmosphere wasn’t upscale, more like a casual diner, but that added to its charm. I also appreciated the fast service and the variety of choices on the menu. We were a big group, and we all left satisfied. I would recommend this place for a laid-back, delicious meal. " (*Curated Review*)
" The ambiance of El Antojo is fantastic! Tacos are incredible; they taste like they belong in a Mexican market. The salsa bar has varied options that only add to the experience. However, the wait time was longer than I expected on a Friday night, but the food made up for it. A must-visit for any taco lover! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high expectations but left feeling disappointed. The birria tacos I ordered were flavorless and soggy. To top it off, the service was inattentive; I couldn't even get a refill on my drink. I would rather recommend other places in Tacoma that serve authentic Mexican food without those issues. " (*Curated Review*)
" What an incredible dining experience! From start to finish, El Antojo exceeded my expectations! The beans and rice tasted freshly made, and the handmade tortillas were a delightful surprise. I ordered the breakfast machaca plate, and wow, what a huge portion! I could barely finish it. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and I noticed how clean everything was. I’m definitely returning to try their different menu items soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" I really enjoyed my last visit to El Antojo! The tacos al pastor were authentic and delicious. The portions were generous, and the price point was quite reasonable compared to many other local places. My friends and I loved the salsa bar with its variety! The environment was casual yet welcoming. Perfect for a quick bite or a casual dinner. Will definitely bring more friends next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited El Antojo to try their famous tacos, but I left feeling disappointed. My order took too long, and when I finally got my food, it was lukewarm. The flavor was okay, but nothing memorable. The atmosphere was nice, but the service really left me wanting more. I likely won’t be returning anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
