" I really wanted to love this place, but my experience was just okay. Starting with the positives, the atmosphere is fantastic—an old post office turned restaurant makes for a unique vibe. However, the service was slow, and it took quite a while for our food to arrive. When it finally did, the flavors didn’t live up to my expectations. I tried their signature burger and while it was juicy, I found the seasoning a bit bland. Overall, it's a decent place but needs to work on speeding up the service and enhancing the dish flavors. " I had a wonderful dinner at Post last night! It was our first visit and certainly not our last. The staff were friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered. I ordered the vegan tacos and was thrilled with how much flavor they packed. The ingredients tasted fresh! My husband loved the burger; he said it’s one of the best he’s had in town. " I have been a fan of Post since they opened their doors! The ambiance is delightful, especially if you manage to get a table outside while enjoying the view of the river. My recent visit was again a pleasant experience, as the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu features a lovely variety; I went with the deep-fried cod from their fish fry special, and it was simply delectable. The batter was light, and the fish was flaky. " First off, I must mention that this restaurant is a must-visit if you love historic places. The ambiance is charming with beautiful decor. The food is mostly exceptional; however, my experience wasn't as consistent as I hoped. The house salad was fresh, and the entrees served were hearty. I ordered the walleye, which had a great crust but was a tad overcooked. My partner had the meatloaf which he loved—moist and flavorful! Service was friendly but a bit slow for a weeknight.
