" I was excited to try El Tejate after hearing great things about it. The food was indeed authentic and delicious. I tried the Tasajo Tacos and the flavors were amazing! However, the service was quite poor. Our waitress was not attentive at all, and we waited a long time to get our orders taken. " El Tejate is definitely a new favorite of ours! The food is incredibly flavorful, reminding us of our vacations in Oaxaca. I particularly fell in love with the Tlayuda; it's so large and generously topped! That said, service was slow, and it took a while to receive our drinks. " I celebrated my birthday here, and it truly made the day special! The Tacos are by far the best I’ve ever had, loaded with so much flavor, and generous portions! Handmade tortillas were a treat! The staff was attentive and made sure we felt welcomed. The only hiccup was a slight delay in getting our food, but it was understandable given the busy evening.
