" I used to work at Taco Bell years ago, and I can say firsthand that it can either be fantastic or frustrating. My last visit was a testament to that; I got my usual order, and it was pretty spot on! Everything tasted fresh, hot, and was done right. " I was looking forward to getting my usual order, but man, did these guys drop the ball. I placed my order for a burrito bowl and got a taco salad instead. I didn't even realize it until I got home, and it just ruined my whole night. The drive-thru was so backed up that going back wasn't even an option. " Wish I could give Taco Bell a rave review but sadly, it wasn't great. I ordered their popular cheesy gordita crunch and was really looking forward to it. When it came, it was soggy, and a bit underwhelming. The service was also a bit lacking. They weren’t terrible, just not up to par. " Had a horrible experience using their drive-thru. I ordered a couple of soft tacos. They ended up giving me crunchy tacos instead. Tried to explain the mix-up at the window, but it seemed like they were too busy taking orders from the line of cars to care about my issue. " As a long-time Taco Bell fan, I have to say my opinion has changed recently. The portions seem smaller, and the prices are climbing. " Walked in, thinking I’d order a side of nachos. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. It was extremely frustrating, and I finally ended up walking out without placing any order. From my previous experiences, I know the food isn’t bad, but the service here leaves a lot to be desired. " Came to Taco Bell on a whim after a long hike. The tacos were decent but the wait was crazy long. One of the employees made an error on my order which added more time to my wait. I eventually got what I wanted, but I was starving by the time I left! On the plus side, it was all very fresh and completely hit the spot. I would return but perhaps avoid peak hours.
