" I had high expectations for El Birotazo based on the rave reviews, and while it didn't completely disappoint, I found the food to be somewhat underwhelming. The ambiance is nice, a cozy little spot, but the service was lacking on the day I visited. I ordered a couple of items, but they took quite a while to arrive, and I was left waiting. The pancito could have been better; it was more like a baguette than the traditional Mexican bread I was hoping for. The tacos de birria are a must-try and so is the consomé—they complement each other perfectly! The staff is always friendly despite the busy environment, and they handle the lunch crowd like pros. The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded, so I recommend going during off-peak hours if you want to enjoy a relaxed meal. Still, the food is undeniably worth the wait!
