" My experiences with Hong Kong Restaurant have varied over the years. At times, I've found the food quite decent, especially when I caught them on their good days. On my last visit, however, I was shocked at the level of disrespect from the staff. They hastily shoved my food at me with a surly disposition. The sesame chicken I ordered tasted like it had been microwaved. It was quite a letdown given my prior experiences. " This was my first visit to Hong Kong Restaurant, and I can honestly say, I won’t be a returning customer. I went in with the expectation of enjoying a nice meal, but the food was simply not good. I ordered a chicken fried rice, and it was bland, rubbery and seemed old. The cashier didn’t provided any help or guidance on the menu, which was frustrating. " I had a lunch special at Hong Kong Restaurant recently, and it was a real mixed bag. The food could have been satisfying, but the shrimp fried rice was underwhelming, with way too much soy sauce drowning everything. The shrimp were lacking freshness, and for some reason, everything tasted off. Also, the service was terrible; there was a long wait time, and the cashier seemed annoyed when I asked for extra napkins. " Honestly, I've had several meals that were tolerable, however, my last order was revolting! The chicken tasted like it had been frozen for ages. The fried rice was clumpy, and the vegetables looked wilted. I've never seen a restaurant where the staff have such disdain for their work—they might as well have rolled their eyes while taking my order.
