" I had such a great time at Shi Shi Boba! The environment is perfect for hanging out with friends; I loved the mix of modern and playful decor. " I was very excited to try Shi Shi Boba, but my experience was disappointing. They were out of many items on the menu and service was incredibly slow. I ended up getting the strawberry milk tea and the crispy pork buns, but to my dismay the pork was dry and lacked seasoning. The tea however, was good, so it's like a half-win. However, when I ordered the crispy pork bánh mì, it was not as delicious as I had hoped; the pork was a bit dry and the flavor just didn't shine through. I did enjoy the drinks; I had a coconut smoothie that was refreshing and sweetened just right. The staff seemed a bit stretched and it took a long time for my food to arrive. " Honestly, I was excited to check out Shi Shi Boba after hearing good things. The ambiance is nice with lots of seating and games, making it a good place to hang out. However, when I ordered the caramelized pork sticky rice, I was a bit disappointed. It didn’t taste like what I remembered from home; it was more mushy than sticky. On the bright side, the milk tea I had was delicious! A little on the sweeter side, but overall a nice treat. I think I’ll stick to their drinks next time though. Just a decent spot for me.
