" Just finished a meal at Chowrastha and couldn't be happier! The samosas are just as good as the ones I had in Delhi, crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor. I also tried the butter chicken which was rich and had that perfect hint of sweetness. Service was friendly, although they could have been a bit quicker in bringing the food. All in all, it’s a great little spot, and I’m likely to make it my regular Indian food fix. " (*Curated Review*)
" Eating at Chowrastha reminded me of the street food I had back in India. The samosas were perfectly crisp, and their pani puri was a delightful blast of flavors. It’s a casual place, which I prefer, because you can just grab your food and find a seat. However, be prepared to wait during peak hours because it does get very busy. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try more items like their biryani that friends have raved about! " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve been to Chowrastha a few times now, and each visit has been a rollercoaster. Some dishes hit the mark while others fall flat. The chole puri was good, but the paneer butter masala was overly oily. I really enjoy their sweets, especially the boondi ladoo which tasted fresh! The staff usually seems overwhelmed, but they do their best to provide service at a busy pace. It’s definitely a mixed bag, but one I’m willing to keep exploring. " (*Curated Review*)
" During my visit to Chowrastha, I found mixed results. The desserts were actually a highlight, especially their boondi ladoo which tasted so authentic! However, the main dish I tried, the goat curry, was a bit of a letdown. It felt very oily and lacked flavor—definitely not what I'm accustomed to from Indian cuisine. The dining area was quite crowded, making it tough to enjoy the meal without distractions. I do think they have a lot of potential, but I hope they can address quality issues soon. " I was excited to try Chowrastha based on its reputation as an authentic Indian eatery. The biryani and desse papdi chaat were fantastic, and I must say, the irani chai brought back memories from Hyderabad. I did notice, however, that the service could have been a bit quicker during lunch hours, as it took a while for our food to arrive. Nevertheless, the wait was worthwhile! Parking is a bit tricky since it shares the space with a gas station, but I will definitely come back again! " (*Curated Review*)
" Having heard much about Chowrastha, I finally visited and was fascinated by the vibrant ambiance. The food itself was a mix of hits and misses; some dishes were rich in flavor while others fell flat. Their fish fry was delightful and fresh, perfect with their spicy chutney. However, the dosa I had was a bit soggy which was disappointing, and the service could definitely use some improvement. Regardless, I’d recommend visiting for the good dishes! " (*Curated Review*)
" If you want to experience India without stepping off American soil, Chowrastha is the place! The variety of dishes reflects the true essence of Indian street food. The ambiance is laid-back, perfect for a quick bite. However, the wait was a little longer than expected, and I really didn't appreciate the tables being so close together which felt cramped. But the flavors made it all worth it! I highly recommend the bhel puri and their special chai. " (*Curated Review*)
