" What a fantastic spot to dine! Cachanilla has great service and beautiful decor. We loved the walnut shrimp and the spicy pork, which had just the right amount of kick. The portions are quite large, so bring an appetite! We had great fun sharing dishes family-style. I would say the only downside was the noise level became a bit high as the evening progressed. Regardless, I was incredibly satisfied with our meals and would definitely consider returning next time I'm in Pomona. " (*Curated Review*)
" We were looking for a new place to try in Pomona and stumbled upon Cachanilla. It felt a bit traditional yet fresh. The service was friendly and quick; it was perfect for our dinner time. I loved the eggplant stir-fry; their take on traditional dishes was refreshing. The portions were definitely family-sized, and we had leftovers to take home. I would recommend this place for its unique blend of flavors and the lovely atmosphere it provides. " (*Curated Review*)
" The atmosphere is definitely family-friendly. I’ve visited Cachanilla multiple times, and it doesn’t disappoint. It's a nice place to gather with friends or family. The decorations provide a cheerful vibe, and the staff is usually on point with service. The food portions are more than generous, and we always leave with leftovers. The sweet and sour chicken had a nice tang, although I found it slightly too sweet for my taste. However, the eggplant dish was surprisingly delightful! Overall, I’ve enjoyed my visits here and plan to return. " (*Curated Review*)
" My experience at Cachanilla left me with mixed feelings. The food was genuinely pleasing, especially the beef dishes. However, I expected a bit more authenticity considering the restaurant's name. Portions are massive and made for family-style dining; we easily fed six people with just three dishes! The service was reliable and quick, but our waiter seemed a little rushed, perhaps due to the busy dinner hour. Though overall enjoyable, I think there are some improvements needed if they want customers to return consistently. I might give it another shot. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you're looking for a distinct blend of influences, Cachanilla showcases a delightful twist on traditional Chinese food. Friendly staff made sure our every need was met, showcasing great service. Portions are incredibly generous, enough to feed a small army. While some flavors were spot on, others felt slightly off. I tried three different noodle dishes, and they were well received but could use a little more depth in seasoning. The ambiance of the restaurant is comfortable and family-oriented, making it a nice spot for group gatherings. I’ll be back to see if they tweak their dishes more for better execution. " I went to Cachanilla for the first time and I must say, the service stood out the most! They were so attentive, which made the experience pleasant. A huge table with a large lazy Susan was perfect for our family of seven! The food was decent but didn't quite match the levels of authenticity I expected based on the restaurant's name. My favorite was the walnut shrimp, but some dishes felt overly salted. The ambience is straightforward but clean. I might return, but I hope they can improve on food quality next time. " My family and I can be picky when it comes to dining out, especially with a love for true Chinese flavors. We decided to try Cachanilla, and the experience was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the decorations are pleasantly authentic and welcoming. The service was great, very attentive without being intrusive. On the downside, while the portions were enormous, the food left much to be desired in terms of authenticity. The fried rice was not like any I've had before—almost mushy. The honey walnut shrimp was enjoyable, though it seemed more batter than shrimp. We made a mental note to try the orange chicken next time, as several reviews mentioned it. All in all, I think a few adjustments to the recipes could elevate the experience further. Perhaps we'll return in hopes of improvement. " (*Curated Review*)
