" Delicious! Probably one of the best places I have found for Chinese takeout. I always look for authenticity in the flavors, and this place doesn't disappoint. The Hunan beef is especially tasty; it's fresh and has just the right amount of spice. Not only that, but I found the portions to be generous compared to other places I’ve tried. A little inconsistent at times, but the delicious taste keeps pulling me back. Not to forget the staff is friendly which is a plus! " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first time at Shun Xing. I ordered a few dishes to share with friends. The aesthetics were decent but the food left much to be desired. The General Tso’s chicken tasted reheated, and the sweet and sour chicken was extremely greasy. Service was a little lackluster; I felt ignored at times. It was a bit pricey for what it was, and I’m not sure I’d pay this much again for food that’s mediocre at best. " (*Curated Review*)
" I initially had a good impression of Shun Xing but after multiple trips, I noticed a decline in the quality. The last time I went the lo mein was way too oily, and the chicken pieces were inconsistent in size. The staff is friendly enough, but when food quality suffers, it affects the overall experience. Hopefully they can get back to where they used to be. " (*Curated Review*)
" I can't say enough about Shun Xing! Initially apprehensive due to some mixed reviews, I finally took the plunge and was met with a great experience. The food was authentic, and I savored every bite of my orange chicken, which was crunchy and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive despite a busy evening. I’d gladly return again for more delicious meals! " (*Curated Review*)
" I love Chinese food, and Shun Xing has typically been a place I liked to frequent. I must admit, the inconsistencies in food quality over the past few months have made me cautious. I think my last meal was disappointing because I had overly salty soup, and the lo mein was clumpy and not as fresh tasting. The portions I received seemed smaller than usual as well. I really hope they can get back to their original quality. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a dinner party and wanted to order out from Shun Xing to treat my friends. Unfortunately, I was let down. The General Tso’s chicken was not properly cooked, and most dishes seemed hastily prepared. I think perhaps the staff was overworked that night. Fortunately, the appetizers were acceptable, but that’s not enough to warrant a special order. I was embarrassed that I chose this place! " (*Curated Review*)
" Not my favorite Chinese spot but decent for a quick lunch. Service is speedy, and the staff is generally attentive. Combo plates provide a fair amount of food, but the flavors leave something to be desired. I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, but it was a bit greasy. I think there are better options in town, yet Shun Xing is still a contender. " (*Curated Review*)
