" As someone who grew up enjoying Chinese takeout in New York, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. They serve the most authentic egg rolls I've tasted in a long time and their fried rice had that genuine wok flavor! We got a bit of everything, and it was all fantastic except for the honey walnut shrimp which was overly sweet for my taste. Service was adequate, but I noticed they were quite busy. " New York Chinese Restaurant has a great atmosphere full of vibrant energy and friendly faces. I ordered a mix of classic dishes, including sweet and sour pork and general tso's chicken, and both were very flavorful! The only downside was the wait time due to it being so busy, but it made sense as the goodness is clearly loved in the community. The prices are also reasonable for the quality of food.
