What particularly impressed me was seeing the owner personally checking on tables, making sure everyone was happy. The charm of the place really does elevate the experience. But - and I must note this - while the food was exceptional, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed and occasionally inattentive, which detracted from the overall experience.
