" Every time I visit CAVA, I find myself struggling between rating them a 3 or 4. The food is usually fresh, but I do find the portion sizes can be quite variable depending on who is serving. Some staff are generous while others seem to skimp. I love the concept of building your own bowl, but I wish for more consistency across the board. " I visited CAVA for the first time last weekend, and I have to say, I left with mixed feelings. On one hand, the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were vibrant. I particularly loved the harissa chicken and the variety of toppings available. However, the service left much to be desired. I waited for quite some time in line, and my order was slightly off when I received it. Nevertheless, the quality of the food almost made up for the service hiccups. " Okay, I need to share my experience because while the food at CAVA is undeniably delicious, my last visit was like a rollercoaster ride. The friendly staff was awesome, trying to accommodate all the hungry customers, but they ran out of two key ingredients I wanted for my bowl, which was disheartening! The ambiance was nice, clean, and inviting, so kudos for that! But the portion size for what I ended up with felt skimpy.
