" I've been frequenting Yamato Jr for a couple of years and must say that the quality has dipped recently. The hibachi chicken used to have that perfect char but is now just okay. I ordered takeout and noticed that the rice was dry and had an odd taste, which was disappointing. Also, the portion sizes are not what they used to be; I felt like I was given a much smaller serving than before, yet the price remained unchanged. " Disappointed with my latest visit. I ordered takeout and when I got home, the food was lukewarm and the flavor was lacking. The fried rice didn't taste fresh and it seemed they skimped on the shrimp. Incredibly frustrating after a long day. " I decided to stop here as it was recommended by someone at work. I tried their lunch special, which included a chicken bowl and a side of spring rolls. I cannot say I was overly impressed.
