" Stumbled upon Umi Teriyaki while passing through town and decided to give it a shot. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, and while the chicken was juicy, the sauce was overwhelmingly sweet. Portions were generous, enough for two meals! " Don’t be fooled by the exterior; this place has some of the biggest portions around! I ordered the pork gyoza and chicken combo, and I ended up taking half of it home. The flavors were decent, but not the best teriyaki I’ve had. I liked how they offered complimentary green tea – that was a nice touch! " Visited Umi Teriyaki last night, and it wasn’t too bad! The ambience was casual and clean, really good for a quick takeout. My spicy chicken was decent; it had a nice kick to it, which I appreciated. However, the rice was a bit dry and the teriyaki sauce was sweeter than normal.
