" After hearing about Bonchon opening nearby, I was eager to visit. The atmosphere is warm and modern. I ordered the spicy wings and enjoyed their heat level—definitely a good choice for spice lovers. But, I was disappointed with the cooking; some pieces felt a bit undercooked, while others had an excessively thick batter. I did notice many patrons enjoying their meals though, so perhaps there is inconsistency. Service was polite, but they seemed a little disorganized at times. I plan to give it another shot soon, as they have the potential to polish their offerings. " (*Curated Review*)
" Bonchon in Bayonne has been on my radar for a while, and I'm glad I finally dropped by. The staff friendly yet felt a little overwhelmed during peak hours. I couldn't wait to taste the wings, and they did not disappoint! The spicy sauce is a must-try, really elevates the chicken, although some pieces were not as crispy as I wanted. Still had a great meal nonetheless. If they can work out the flow during busy times, they could easily become a go-to spot for fried chicken. " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first visit to Bonchon, and honestly, I had high expectations. The place was bright and had a clean layout which I appreciated. I ordered the bulgogi and some wings. The wings were well seasoned but lacked that signature crunch that I've come to expect from Korean style fried chicken. The bulgogi was good, but I felt it could use a bit more flavor. The service was friendly, but the wait time could use improvement as I waited a bit longer than I anticipated. I might return in the future, but only to see if they fix these issues. " I decided to visit Bonchon after hearing much buzz about this new location. I was particularly excited to try their famed fried chicken. The ambiance is inviting, but unfortunately, I was let down by my meal. The chicken was not as crispy as I expected, and it tasted just okay. I think there may still be some issues with consistency in cooking. I hope this improves with time. The staff were pleasant, but that didn't quite make up for the food. Overall, I'd say I might consider giving it another chance if they can regulate their food quality better. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had an excellent dinner here last night. The food was on point! I tried their infamous soy garlic wings, and they are just as delicious as I remembered. They were crispy and well-sauced. The fries were also a hit with my group. While the staff was enthusiastic, they seemed inexperienced and a bit overwhelmed, which affected the service times. But the food was definitely worth the wait! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for great Korean fried chicken. " (*Curated Review*)
" Bonchon, what a treat! Finally visited after anticipating their opening and the experience exceeded my expectations! I had the wings as many recommended and they were superb! Crispy on the outside and tender within, quite delightful! The ambiance was cozy and clean which added to my overall satisfaction. I do hope the staff can manage busy hours better. I will definitely return for more tasty meals. " (*Curated Review*)
" Unfortunately, my first experience wasn't the best. The service wasn't friendly, and my food took ages to arrive. When my order finally came, I found it lacked flavor. The chicken pieces were not consistent in texture, some nearly raw and others overcooked. I'm hoping it was just an off day for them; it feels like this place could be better based on its reputation. I'll think twice before returning soon; it needs improvement. " (*Curated Review*)
