" I had high hopes for Chengdu 1 Palace based on friends’ recommendations; however, my experience was inconsistent. Some dishes were incredibly flavorful, particularly the ma po tofu and shrimp dim sum. But the stir-fried noodles were underwhelming and a bit oily.
