" This place did not disappoint! I ordered the hibachi steak, and it was phenomenal! Full of flavor and cooked just right. The chef was hilarious, entertaining our entire table. The portion was more than enough, as I couldn't finish my meal. My friends had the sushi and loved it, too. Service was friendly but could be faster during rush hour. " I’m a frequent visitor to Japanese restaurants, and Yamato certainly holds its own. I was drawn to the varied sushi menu, and I made the right choice with the dragon roll—it was simply phenomenal! The dynamite shrimp appetizer was a great start to our meal, but the service was less than ideal. My server was nice, but forgetful. Several times I had to remind him of our drink orders. Thankfully, the quality of the fish made up for the slower service, and I left feeling satisfied. All in all, I’d come back—but I hope for better service next time.
