" It's painful for me to say this, but this restaurant has lost its charm. The last few times I’ve been, I’ve noticed the food quality taking a terrible dive. Last time, my sesame chicken was chewy, and the fried rice tasted decades old. As a once-loyal customer, I can’t help but feel betrayed after all those years. The only good moment I had was when a friendly waitress asked how I was, but even that couldn't compensate for a terrible meal. " I had high hopes considering the nostalgia I'd associated with this place, yet now I feel betrayed by the decline in quality. Chicken tasted reheated with no moisture. Everything was either overcooked or severely lacking in flavor and presentation. I hesitate to think they are using previously frozen ingredients to cut costs. The prices hardly reflect what we got. The staff is friendly but obviously overworked. I watched several tables complain about their food, but the poor staff could only apologize. " Don’t even waste your time here—the food is nothing short of awful now. Every visit leads to disappointment. The menu has changed, and so has the quality of everything. The chicken was surprisingly hard to chew, and the dishes lacked that authentic texture I remember from years ago. The restaurant is obviously run on a shoe-string budget now. " After being a loyal customer for years, I finally decided to give this place another shot, but what a mistake! The sweet and sour chicken I ordered tasted nothing like I remembered. Instead of the crispy texture, it was soggy and covered in a sauce that was too thin and overly sweet. My husband’s almond chicken came without any sauce, and we were both frustrated by how our orders had changed for the worse. Even the portions seemed reduced compared to what we used to get. " Some of the best almond cookies I've ever had, but the food left much to be desired. I barely wanted to finish my meal after encountering the overly mushy fried rice that tasted like it was prepared days before. The sweet and sour chicken was disappointing as it lacked any real flavor and was mostly breading. I came in with a friend who spoke highly of this place, and I was left confused as to why she still suggests it. The ambiance is decent, but that alone can't save the food situation here. " I'm genuinely undecided about this place now. At times, the food can be mediocre, but there have been instances where I received a meal that was fresh and flavorful.
