" I had high hopes for Chang's Wok Inn, especially given its reputation in Peoria. The flavors in the Singapore Rice Noodles were vibrant, as they should be. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired; I had to wait longer than expected to receive my order. Despite this inconvenience, I would like to try it again as the food was very satisfying, particularly the Chicken Chow Mein, which was beautifully cooked and tasted authentic. " I’ve never encountered a restaurant where I felt like I could make such strong recommendations based on just a single dish. The Stewed Beef with noodles was incredibly comforting and infused with flavors I typically think of when enjoying a home-cooked meal. The price for the amount of food was excellent too! " I have frequented Chang's many times, and the experience has been inconsistent. While the first few visits were excellent with deliciously cooked pork lo mein and fresh spring rolls, my recent visit was disappointing. I received overcooked noodles, and the portion size seemed smaller than before. The seating area tends to be cold, which didn’t help the overall dining experience. Despite the setbacks, I do admire how they have remained committed to their service and strive to resolve issues. I hope they bounce back because I do enjoy their food when it’s on point! " My family and I decided to try out Chang's Wok Inn after hearing decent reviews. The pesto chicken was delightful and had an authentic taste to it, although the crab rangoon was subpar, both in flavor and consistency.
