" I was not impressed with my last visit to Suishin. The sushi was mediocre at best. Some rolls tasted bland, which I did not expect for a sushi restaurant that has gotten such praise. On the upside, the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is decent; it has a nice decor but can feel cramped. The wait for the food was longer than expected. " Had a fantastic time last night! The atmosphere was quaint and cozy, perfect for a casual dinner. The staff was attentive, and they made some great recommendations. " Suishin has quickly become my favorite place to have sushi! The Blue Ravine roll is simply phenomenal—so fresh and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail from the sushi chef is notable, making every dish a work of art. The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. " Unfortunately, my experience at Suishin Sushi was not what I expected based on the high praise I had heard. The decor felt outdated and cluttered, which was disappointing. I decided to order a couple of specialty rolls expecting big flavors, but they fell flat and tasted bland. On top of that, one roll seemed a bit warmer than I would have liked for sushi; that’s not a great sign. The service was friendly, and they quickly checked on us, which was a plus. While I appreciate that they are trying to maintain their business in these hard times, I think they really need to revamp their offerings and atmosphere to compete with other sushi restaurants in the area.
