The restaurant has received mixed reviews regarding the authenticity of its Japanese cuisine, with many customers expressing that the food does not reflect traditional Japanese flavors. While the service is often noted for being friendly and efficient, the quality of the food can be inconsistent. Overall, there are some great dishes, but the authenticity leaves much to be desired.

" Every time I go to Miso, the staff recognizes me which I appreciate. Service is absolutely top-notch! But, I can’t say the same for the food quality. Sometimes it’s fabulous, but other times it’s a letdown. The fried rice seems to vary a lot in taste depending on who makes it, which is quite disheartening. For a quick meal, I enjoy dropping by, but more often than not, I find myself hoping for more consistency in culinary output. " (*Curated Review*)
" I ordered delivery from Miso and was pleasantly shocked by how tasty everything was! I tried the teriyaki beef and a sushi platter. Both sides were seasoned well and the sushi was fresh with good quality fish. The bento box I had for lunch the next day was a great deal too! I can appreciate how their prices match the quality of food. Service was quick and attentive, and they seemed to really value their customers. I will be coming back, for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" I have visited this restaurant multiple times and there are indeed some highlights and pitfalls with their offerings. On my latest lunchtime visit, I decided to try a specialty roll. The flavor was decent, but the ingredients didn't jive well together. It felt like an experiment that went wrong rather than an authentic dish. The staff were prompt, polite, and attentive, which made the visit more bearable. The cleanliness of the establishment was commendable. I still struggle to recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly because of its inconsistencies in quality. " (*Curated Review*)
" Visiting Miso Teriyaki House was an adventure, but not one I would repeat. Most of the food was overcooked or reheated too many times. The fried rice had no flavor, and the chicken lacked seasoning. The soup was a weak version of what I consider traditional miso, with hardly any taste at all. The best part was definitely the sushi rolls we tried – at least they had flavor! The waiter was excellent, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the culinary experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" This restaurant has potential! I've had excellent dishes here, but some have been rather bland. It appears to depend on who cooks that day. The service staff is always cheerful and welcoming, making it a wonderful space to dine. For anyone who enjoys casual dining without too many frills, Miso Teriyaki House might fit the bill. If only they could streamline their culinary quality and establish their signature flavors. " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Miso for the first time and I was impressed by the modern decor and cleanliness of the restaurant. I was delighted to find reasonably priced bento boxes. However, the food didn’t meet my expectations in terms of authenticity. The rolls were quite different from what I had experienced in Japan, lacking distinct flavors, which left me unsatisfied. Although the service was stellar, with an eager-to-help staff, I likely wouldn’t return. " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve heard a lot about Miso Teriyaki House and was eager to see what the fuss was about. The first time was great; my sushi was fresh and flavorful. However, during my second visit, the food quality was really poor! The fried rice was tasteless and mushy, which disappointed me greatly. The ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly enough, but if the food doesn't meet my standards, I don’t think I would want to go back anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
