" My experience at El Rey was less than stellar. I visited with a group and we had high hopes, but many of the dishes were just average at best. The chicken was overcooked, and the tacos lacked seasoning. Service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean with a nice vibe, but the most important part – the food – didn't impress me. " Wow! I was blown away by my experience at El Rey! This is truly a hidden gem. The ambiance is colorful and festive, transporting you straight to Mexico. I ordered the carnitas and they were some of the best I’ve had. So juicy and flavorful! We also loved the chips and salsa, particularly because the salsa had a nice kick to it – not the usual watered-down version you find elsewhere. Every bite was packed with authenticity.
