" What a mixed experience! Start with the positive: the ambiance was friendly and warm, really inviting. The staff was attentive as well. On the downside, the food was inconsistent; while some dishes were flavorful, others were bland to the point of being forgettable. It felt like an restaurants that tries to cater to a broader audience, possibly at the expense of authentic flavors. I would suggest trying a different route in terms of seasoning next time. " My family and I decided to try a new Indian restaurant and ended up at Amber. The buffet had a lot of variety but sadly not all items met the mark. Chicken dishes were decent, but I personally felt that there should be more authentic flavors. Some items felt toned down for the local palate. " I had an extraordinary experience at Amber Indian Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance welcomed me into a world of delightful aromas. I ordered a la carte; I had the lamb vindaloo and chicken korma. Both were full of rich, authentic flavors. They offered complimentary naan and rice, perfectly baked and fluffy. " So disappointed with my last visit! Where do I even begin? My husband and I arrived to a barely decent lunch buffet that we had hyped in our minds. The variety was there, but most of the food was lukewarm and some dishes lacked any real flavor. The naan we were served was hard and stale, and it took forever to get a refill on water. " Nothing compares to the experience my friends and I had at Amber. We ordered a variety of dishes to share including biryani, various naan types, and different curries. The flavors were genuine, and I could tell the spices were fresh. We enjoyed it so much that we lost track of time! The waitstaff was attentive but not overly so, which I appreciated. I think maybe they were just having an off day because it was busy. The main highlight for me was the hospitality—everyone was very friendly.
