" I can’t express how disappointing my last visit to Cafe Rio was. The entire service experience felt off, as we waited excessively for our food even though the place was not crowded. The food itself was subpar, with the beef lacking flavor and the beans seemingly old. I also couldn't believe they charged me extra for guacamole and gave me a scoop the size of a quarter! " Cafe Rio has been hit or miss for me over the years. On one occasion, I had a fantastic dining experience, with attentive staff and delicious, authentic flavors. Just last week, however, I decided to give it another chance, and it was entirely different. After placing my order, I noticed the place was in disarray with sauce containers overflowing and food remnants all over, which turned me off before I even got my meal. When my food finally arrived, I was met with cold rice and hardly any meat in my burrito.
