" This was my family's favorite buffet spot a year ago, but on our recent visit, we were rather disappointed with the lack of variety and freshness. The food felt like leftovers! " I used to love this place, but my recent visits have been quite disappointing. The last time I was there, the food just didn’t taste fresh. The rice was dry, and some of the dishes seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. The service was slow, and the tables felt dirty. It’s a shame because the prices are reasonable, but I think I’ll be looking elsewhere for my Chinese food fix. It might be worth a visit during peak hours to see if there’s a difference in quality. " Decided to check it out based on a friend's recommendation, but I was left unimpressed. The food didn’t have the authentic taste I associate with Chinese cuisine. In particular, the orange chicken seemed bland, lacking the zesty flavor I expected. The atmosphere was dim, and I'd prefer more light for a buffet setting. The portion sizes were decent, though. " I’m a big fan of Chinese buffets and have tried many, but East Buffet isn't quite cutting it anymore. The last few visits had a lot of dried up food that looks like it’s been sitting all day.
