" I had an amazing time at Ying Dynasty! The food was delectable, especially the General Tso's chicken, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice. The ambiance was lovely and welcoming. " I took my family out for dinner at Ying Dynasty last weekend and it was quite enjoyable. The decor had a charming traditional feel which was nice. The food was good overall, but I have to say the fried rice didn't quite hit the mark; it could use more seasoning. The Kung Pao chicken, however, was delightful with just the right amount of heat. " I’ve tried Ying Dynasty several times over the years, and my most recent experience unfortunately left me a bit underwhelmed. The food felt a little different this time around—perhaps a change in the chef? The fried rice was bland, and the chicken seemed dry. Service was fine, but the wait between courses was longer than I'd like. I do enjoy the environment, and it's typically very clean and well-kept, so I’m hoping they get back to their former glory. We ordered a variety of dishes, and I have to say, the honey garlic chicken was the highlight for me—sweet, savory, and tender. The portions were generous; two of us couldn't finish our entrees! The highlight of our visit was the waitress, who made sure we had everything we needed. She recommended some great dishes and was just so pleasant.
