" I went into Tokyo Express for a quick takeout. The staff made me feel unwelcome, but the food was decent enough. The shrimp fried rice was flavorful and generous in portions, but I was hoping for a better experience overall. " I've been to Tokyo Express several times, and I must say the food can be surprisingly good for a strip mall takeout place, especially if you're craving some comfort-food style Chinese dishes. The crab Rangoon is a standout! However, the service is always a bit curt. Not unfriendly exactly, but definitely not a place you’d seek out for pleasant lunch banter. " On my last visit, I had the teriyaki chicken and a side of fried rice. While the chicken tasted decent, the rice was dry and unappetizing. However, the service was the real issue I had! " We tried Tokyo Express since it’s nearby and it turned out to be just fine. The food had okay flavors, but the lady behind the counter had a stony expression throughout my order.
