" This isn't the best Chinese food I've had, but it's fine for a fast meal. I enjoy their chicken teriyaki, which I get with fried rice and a side of spring rolls. The portions are respectable, and the prices are reasonable. Service is usually quicker than other fast-casual spots in the area, making it a decent choice to stop in when short on time. " This place should really be avoided at all costs! I ordered chicken fried rice and ended up with just rice that had a strange taste to it. The chicken was nowhere to be found! When I called to complain, the lady on the phone was rude and refused to apologize. Additionally, the restaurant smelled odd when I went to pick up my order. " For the last few years, we've been getting takeout from Joy Inn, and it's always been hit or miss. The vegetable lo mein is often good, but the meat dishes vary greatly in quality. Lately, we’ve been disappointed more often than not with the freshness and flavor. The service can be friendly, but too many mistakes have pushed us to look for alternatives. " Honestly, give this place a miss. While the staff at least tries to be friendly, the food just doesn’t deliver. My meal tasted overly processed, as if it had been sitting around for too long. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, which was cloyingly sweet with little tangy flavor. This restaurant seems to cater to fast food tastes rather than authentic Chinese culinary experience. " I needed a late-night dinner and called in a last-minute order for some lo mein and dim sum. The food was fresh when I got it, but the dim sum left much to be desired; it felt rebaked rather than freshly made. The noodles were good though—the perfect combination of soy sauce and seasonings. " I’m a big fan of Chinese food, but my last experience at Joy Inn was disappointing. The food tasted like it had been cooked in old grease, and none of the dishes tasted particularly fresh.
