China One appears to be a mixed experience among customers. While many have praised the authenticity of certain dishes and the generous portion sizes, service issues and inconsistent food quality have left some patrons dissatisfied. This restaurant has the potential to deliver a noteworthy dining experience when everything aligns well.

" I had heard about China One’s reputation, and I finally decided to try it. I ordered the hot and sour soup and some Hunan chicken. The flavors were bold and fresh, but I expected more heat from the hot and sour soup. I guess my taste buds are more accustomed to a spicier variant. The atmosphere was quite uninviting; we felt like we were dining in an old cafeteria. To be fair, the staff was polite, but it felt more like a fast-food joint. Despite my critique on the ambiance, I love how they serve generous portions! Value-wise, you are getting a lot for what you pay. " (*Curated Review*)
" China One is my go-to place for takeout. Every time I order, I receive my food hot and fresh. The portions are huge, which is great for my family of four. We've tried multiple items on the menu, and each one has been satisfying. Their crab rangoon is a personal favorite! While I wouldn’t recommend dining in, as the atmosphere feels quite blah, the food alone makes it worth the visit. We have never been disappointed, and I always leave with plenty of leftover food. " I was really excited to finally try China One, having heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which led to confusion about my order. The food arrived later than expected, and when I finally unwrapped it, I was less than impressed with the presentation. The taste was decent, but the chicken in the General Tso's was chewy and not well-prepared. I might give it another shot in the future, but I’m not sure if I would recommend it to friends at this point. " (*Curated Review*)
" I finally made it to China One after hearing recommendations for years! At first, I was very excited about the food options. I ordered the orange chicken and vegetable fried rice. The orange chicken was delicious! Perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors! The only downside was a wait for my order since they were quite busy. Also, I felt slightly rushed out of the dining area which wasn't the best experience. Yet, the food quality left a lasting impression, and I absolutely plan to return and hope for better service next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" After moving to the area, my partner and I decided to try China One based on local recommendations. The food was delicious, especially the vegetable lo mein and orange chicken. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out. However, we've noticed that the service can be hit or miss. The last time we visited, it felt as if staff were rushing, which detracted from the experience. Regardless, the quality of the food still makes this restaurant a winner in our book, and we plan to return often. " (*Curated Review*)
" China One has been a staple for my family for years. We often order their General Tso's chicken, which we've all come to love. It's consistent, but there have been times when the chicken was a bit overcooked, leading to chewy pieces. The atmosphere isn't great for dining in; it feels a bit cramped with small tables and a lack of decor. However, when it comes to takeout, the food is always hot and ready on time. I can overlook the atmosphere since the flavors are worth it! " (*Curated Review*)
" I often take my lunch break at China One when I'm nearby. It’s great for a quick bite, but if you're looking for authenticity, this place might not hit the mark. The pad thai is very Americanized, for example. Still, the food is good, and the service has always been rapid. The dining area does lack charm, so I tend to take out rather than eat there.
