" Wow! What a delightful experience at Roots! I walked in with no expectations and was blown away. I ordered the gourmet quesadilla, and the first bite was heavenly. It had that perfect balance of cheesy goodness and spicy kick. The staff were very attentive, checking on me at just the right times. " I have mixed feelings about my recent visit to Roots. On one hand, the food was largely enjoyable. I had the Churrasco, which was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The avocado slaw that accompanied it, however, was a bit disappointing, as it felt like it could have used more avocado and less coleslaw mix. Service was average, and we did experience a delay in order taking, but the food made up for it. The ambiance was nice, and we appreciated the live music in the background.
