" I had high expectations for China City and was left feeling disappointed. The interior felt outdated, and the service was mediocre at best. The shrimp fried rice I ordered lacked any seasoning—just rice with a few pieces of shrimp tossed in. The house special was overcooked and tasted like it had been siting for a while before being served. I had heard their lo mein was superb, but I'm not sure I want to take the risk again. My general tso’s chicken lacked spice and flavor, and the fried rice tasted stale. In addition, I found the dining area a bit dirty.
