" I visited Tobu with my family, trying to make it a fun outing, but we were left underwhelmed. The fried rice lacked flavor, and several of the dishes felt like they had been cooked far too long and were just dry. The portion sizes didn’t help either, especially for the prices charged. For a family meal, we spent way too much for so little satisfaction. Our server did try to help, but we felt like no one was paying attention to what we really wanted. " Had a decent first-time experience at Tobu. While I have seen a fair share of bad reviews, I found the bourbon chicken to be flavorful, if a little greasy. The sushi was another story — I believe frozen fish is not what you should expect at a sushi establishment. Still, the decor was cute, and the prices were reasonable. " I'd rather eat fast food than go to this place again. I had the sushi and was very disappointed — it tasted stale and didn't look appetizing at all. The rice was mushy, and there was barely any fish in it! On the other hand, the tempura chicken was decent but didn’t make up for the rest of the meal.
