" My family loves Chinese food, and we visited Golden Pagoda after hearing some positive reviews. While the service was friendly and the environment was warm and welcoming, unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The fried rice was dry, and there were few vegetables in it. The main order of sweet and sour chicken was just overpriced breading with tiny pieces of chicken that you could hardly find. Overall, there were inconsistencies in the cooking across dishes. " After hearing good things, I decided to give Golden Pagoda a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes; they were quite generous compared to what you normally find at similar restaurants. However, the flavors were not what I expected. The Mongolian beef was drowning in black pepper, which made it inedible for my taste. I might return, but I would have to stick to tried-and-true choices that I know I will enjoy. Unfortunately, the fried rice wasn’t as advertised, it was just plain rice without any character. Even the egg rolls suffered from being overly greasy without any substance.
