" The Northern Cafe was a delightful surprise! I stumbled upon this gem while at USC. The atmosphere was very laid-back, and the staff were extremely polite. I ordered several dishes including their famous pork dumplings, which were to die for! The dumplings were well-seasoned with a juicy filling. The only downside was the wait time for food, but it was worth it. The portions were decent, but next time I'll definitely order more. " Amazing! I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. The lamb dumplings were hands down the best I've ever had. Super flavorful and they just melt in your mouth. The chili oil on the side was an excellent complement. We also tried the garlic chicken wings, which were perfectly cooked with a nice crispy coating. I love the self-service aspect of the place, as it gives it a casual vibe. My only concern was that it got quite busy and the tables were a bit sticky, but the food absolutely made up for it!
